Quiver Heisenberg algebras and higher preprojective algebras
In my talk I will discuss the quiver Heisenberg algebra associated to an acyclic quiver Q. It is a certain kind of central extension of the preprojective algebra of Q. Just as the preprojective algebra, the quiver Heisenberg algebra encodes important information about the path algebra of Q. In this talk I will introduce the notion of \(t\)-proxy small objects in a compactly generated triangulated category, which is a refinement of the more classical notion of proxy small objects. I will highlight the difference between the two by mentioning a few interesting examples in the derived category of various commutative noetherian rings.
